How it works

You choose which team members to sync email and calendar data for on the Google integration page in Clearskies. For the full picture of what syncs and how to control it, see Data governance and controls. The Google Workspace integration also powers workflow emails. You can automatically send internal emails or draft emails for client communication. See Send email from a workflow for the details.

What you’ll need

Google Workspace admin access (the install button will be grayed out for non-admin users)

Setup steps

1. Open Context Graph in Clearskies

Log in to Clearskies and navigate to Context Graph from the main navigation.

2. Start the Google Workspace connection

Select Google in the list of available data sources and click Connect. A modal will appear with a link to the Google Apps Marketplace.

3. Open the Marketplace listing

Click the Google Apps Marketplace link in the modal or use this link. This opens the Clearskies listing on Google’s Marketplace in a new tab.

4. Install Clearskies from the Marketplace

On the Marketplace listing, click Admin Install. You’ll see a confirmation that the app is being installed for your organization. Click Continue. Note: If the install button is grayed out, you are not signed in as a Google Workspace administrator. Contact your IT team for questions regarding administrator access.

5. Grant permissions and complete the installation

Review the requested permissions and complete Google’s installation prompts. Which users sync is decided in Clearskies, per person, in step 7.

6. Return to Clearskies and enter a Workspace account email

After completing the Marketplace installation, switch back to app.clearskies.cc Enter the email of a Google Workspace account in your domain with privileges to list your Workspace users. The field defaults to the current user’s email. It does not need to be the account that completed the Marketplace installation. Click Connect. Note: If the connection fails, verify that the email belongs to an account in your Workspace domain with sufficient privileges to list your Workspace users.

7. Choose which users sync

Once connected, the integration shows Live and the page lists the users from your Google directory. Turn on each user whose email and calendar data you want in your Context Graph. Toggle the switch in the Provisioned column to sync a user’s email and calendar data. Toggle it off to stop. Click Refresh at any time to update the user list.

Already connected with Domain-Wide Delegation?

If your Context Graph is already connected to Google Workspace using Domain-Wide Delegation, your existing integration continues to work. No action is needed.
